It all started with a single healthy decision.
We first learned about microgreens from nutritional studies claiming them to be some of the most nutrient dense foods in the wourld. Searching for ways to improve our health microgreens kept popping up so naturaly we had to look into these little morsals of life. We found studies showing the nutrient density being up to 40 times more dense then their full grown counterparts. Todays food is lacking vital nutients and is contraversial and often confusing information to what a healthy diet should be. Its really not that difficult. Nature provides us with the nessessities for a healthy life and its up to us to provide our body with what we need for optimal health.

Microgreens began showing up onchef menus as early as the 1980s in SanFrancisco. In Southern California,microgreens have been grown sinceabout the mid-90s. Initially, a fewvarieties were offered; those availablewere: Arugula, Basil, Beets, Kale,Cilantro, and a colorful mixture ofthose called a “Rainbow Mix”. Havingspread eastward from California, theyare now being grown in most areas ofthe United States, with increasingnumbers of varieties.
